Abstract
The basic problems of poverty in Ukraine, in terms of instability, economic crisis and military conflict have been revealed in the article. The dominating factors influencing the level of poverty in the country have
been investigated. Ways of overcoming poverty in the context of effective employment of the economically active population have been defined.
