Аналіз історіографічних джерел свідчить, що, незважаючи на наукову та практичну актуальність дослідження історії фінансової політики уряду Російської імперії в Україні, ця наукова проблема усе ж є малорозробленою та потребує подальшого спеціального вивчення. The article views the problems of the coverage of the imperial fiscal mechanism operation in Ukraine in the ХVIII - beginning XX centuries in the studies of contemporary scholars and practitioners who had left a number of works which are diverse in their range of problems and wide coverage of aspects, form and genre.
