In this article are given the problems of sowing devices, that are considered as independent technical systems. Is carried out the analysis of researches and techniques of calculations of operability of devices and technical systems. During research is revealed, lack of a system view on a common problem of increase of reliability of sowing devices as complete construction. Analysis of science and technology from a systems perspective to the issue of reliability of technical systems. By synthesis papers on the reliability of domestic and foreign scholars , are defined the main directions of research of behavior of mechanical systems in the conditions of their operations.
