The purpose of the research was to establish the nature of the qualitative and quantitative influence of the energy performance of a seed system. Currently, many types of metering systems and energy performance of their work is not completely defined. When creating planting machines main attention is paid to ensure quality of process and performance. At the same time, the current requirements for optimization of energy consumption indicate the need for analysis of the intensity of the working process of the sowing devices. Therefore, in this work the determination and comparison of power to drive the seeding apparatus and systems.
