Показано, що за певних обмежень ВБК – метод дозволяє з високою точністю провести розрахунок в елементарних функціях затухаючих коливань системи с одним ступенем свободи, коли точний розв’язок задачі динаміки виражається через функції Бесселя нецілого індексу. The purpose of this paper is the construction of solutions of linear oscillator with variable mass by WBK, as well as the analysis of the results to which it leads. It is shown that under certain restrictions WBK-method with high accuracy in a calculation of the elementary functions of damped oscillations of a system with one degree of freedom, when the exact solution of the problem of the dynamics is expressed in terms of Bessel functions of non-integer index. WBK - method with good accuracy the damped oscillations of the oscillator without involving the calculation of Bessel functions. Due to changes in the weight of the oscillator, the vertical oscillations have to be measured from the level of rolling stock.
