    The blocking of the main sea routes for export as a result of the military actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine significantly limits the export activity of domestic enterprises. Thus, logistical problems, in particular such as queues at the western borders of Ukraine, the sea blockade and the lack of wagons/trucks/drivers, remain key among the problems faced by export-oriented business in today's realities of war.

    Sectoral priorities of direct foreign investment into the economy of Ukraine’s regions

    The problem of shortage of investment resources was traditional for the economy of Ukraine, and during the war the availability of investments significantly worsened. After the war, it is expected that foreign direct investment will become an important source of financing for reconstruction projects in Ukraine. In the conditions of instability, increased commercial risks and threats to business activity, it is necessary to improve the investment policy of the state, in particular, in terms of stimulating the inflow of foreign investments. At the same time, it is necessary to take into account the effects of attracting FDI in various industries, which depend both on the specialization of the regional economy and on the sectoral structure of foreign investments. Проблема дефіциту інвестиційних ресурсів була традиційною для економіки України, а під час війни доступність інвестицій значно погіршилася. Очікується, що після війни прямі іноземні інвестиції стануть важливим джерелом фінансування проектів реконструкції в Україні. В умовах нестабільності, підвищення комерційних ризиків та загроз підприємницькій діяльності необхідно вдосконалювати інвестиційну політику держави, зокрема, щодо стимулювання припливу іноземних інвестицій. При цьому необхідно враховувати ефекти від залучення ПІІ в різні галузі, які залежать як від спеціалізації регіональної економіки, так і від галузевої структури іноземних інвестицій.
