Розкрито сутність, теорії та концепції економічної інтеграції, проаналізовано тенденції та динаміку розвитку інтеграційних процесів в Україні. Автором обґрунтовано вплив інтеграційних процесів на кількісні і якісні зміни функціонування соціально-економічних систем і розробка концептуального підходу до оцінки впливу інтеграційних процесів на регіональний соціально-економічний розвиток.
