Проаналізовано поняття, сутність і проблеми зайнятості у взаємозв’язку з перспективами розвитку малого підприємництва (МП). Наведена структура підприємництва. Визначено поняття зайнятості у МП, запропоновано принцип класифікації підприємств за чисельністю працюючих і обсягом валового доходу. Підкреслено провідне значення соціального фактору в діяльності малих підприємств.
