    Деякі аспекти підвищення мотивації студентів у вивченні іноземної мови

    У статті розглядаються деякі аспекти формування мотивації до вивчення іноземної мови студентами у процесі навчальної діяльності. Вільне володіння англійською мовою є однією з першорядних та необхідних навичок, що потрібні сучасному спеціалісту в умовах поглиблення відносин між Україною та країнами ЄС. Тому виникає потреба у створенні умов для підвищення мотивації, тому що саме завдяки їй пояснюється інтенсивність у здійсненні дії, активність та ефективність у досягненні результату та мети діяльності, а саме у вивченні іноземної мови. Метою статті нами визначено теоретичне обґрунтування та практичне застосування деяких аспектів підвищення мотивації студентів у процесі вивчення іноземної мови. Мотиваційний аспект у вивченні іноземної мови являє собою систему дій, які виконує викладач, з метою викликати зацікавленість, ініціативність та активність у тих, хто навчається, для досягнення найбільш оптимального результату. Впровадження імітаційно-ігрових методів в навчальний процес актуалізує потребу студентів у вивченні іноземної мови, що базується не тільки на передачі та отриманні знань, а й на їх практичному використанні в іншомовному спілкуванні, викликає зацікавленість та підвищує мотивацію до навчальної діяльності. The article deals with some aspects of the formation of students' motivation to learn a foreign language in the process of educational activities. Fluency in the English language is one of the primary and necessary skills that a modern specialist needs in the conditions of deepening relations between Ukraine and EU countries. Therefore, there is a need to create conditions for increasing motivation, because it is thanks to it that the intensity in the implementation of the action, activity and efficiency in achieving the result and the goal of the activity, namely in learning a foreign language, is explained. The purpose of the article is to determine the theoretical justification and practical application of some aspects of increasing students' motivation in the process of learning a foreign language. The motivational aspect in learning a foreign language is a system of actions performed by the teacher in order to arouse interest, initiative and activity in those who study, in order to achieve the most optimal result. The implementation of simulation-game methods into the educational process actualizes the need of students to learn a foreign language, which is based not only on the transfer and acquisition of knowledge, but also on their practical use in foreign language communication, arouses interest and increases motivation for educational activities.

    Формування іншомовної компетенції засобами STEM та STREAM технологій

    В статті розглядаються проблеми інтеграції іноземної мови, загальноосвітніх та спеціальних дисциплін в освітньому процесі технічних закладів вищої освіти (ЗВО). Створені передумови формування моделі інноваційного освітньо-наукового STEM, STEAM та STREAM середовища для проведення занять з іноземної мови за професійним спрямуванням у технічному ЗВО. Визначено, як STEM, STEAM, STREAM підходи інтегруються із навчанням іноземної мови та забезпечують ефективну підготовку конкурентноспроможних фахівців технічних ЗВО на вітчизняному та світовому ринку праці. Формуючи модель інноваційного освітньо-наукового STEM та STEAM середовища ми розглядали серед STEM-компетентностей компоненти твердих (hardskills) та м’яких/ гнучких (softskills) вмінь. Abstract. The article examines the problems of integration of a foreign language, general education and special disciplines in the educational process of technical institutions of higher education (IHE). The prerequisites for the formation of a model of an innovative educational-scientific STEM, STEAM and STREAM environment for conducting foreign language classes in a professional direction at a technical higher education institution have been created. It is determined how STEM, STEAM, STREAM approaches are integrated with foreign language learning and provide effective training of competitive technical higher education specialists for the domestic and global labor market. Forming a model of an innovative educational and scientific STEM and STEAM environment, we considered the components of hard skills and soft/flexible skills among STEM competencies.In our understanding, the use of STEM technologies in the formation of foreign language competence in technical IHE is the creation of conditions for a balanced, purposeful, science-oriented educational process based on the integration of mathematical, natural and humanitarian areas, where a foreign language acts as an integrative tool for solving professional activities, and the very object of study. Such integration is based on critical thinking and research skills of future specialists in technical education profiles.
