Тогочасні підробки монет та банкнот Російської Імперії у продажах на нумізматичних аукціонах

| dc.description.abstract | Основне джерело вивчення у нумізматичних дослідженнях формують самі монети. Окрім монет із колекцій музеїв та приватних зібрань вагомий інформаційний потенціал ми відмічаємо у каталогах світових нумізматичних аукціонів. Проаналізувавши каталоги аукціонів та нумізматичних фірм кінця ХХ століття, ми не змогли виявити цікавості колекціонерів до фальшивих монето того часу, адже тоді вони переслідувались законодавством та зберігання загрожувало карною відповідальністю. Сьогодні колекційний інтерес до тогочасних підробок за прототипом монет Російської імперії значно зріс. Відповідно, подібні фальсифікати нами було виявлено у двох основних напрямках пошуків – у друкованих каталогах продажів аукціонів, а також в архівах електронних аукціонів, Інтернет-майданчиків спілкування та обміну монетами в середовищі колекціонерів. Головним недоліком для наукового дослідження у використанні даних продажів нумізматичних аукціонів є в переважній більшості відсутність свідчень про місце та обставини виявлення, знахідки проданих лотів, адже ці свідчення зазвичай не фіксуються торгівцями старовиною. Серед проданих матеріалів на нумізматичних аукціонах нам вдалось виявити цікаві зразки тогочасних підробок найпопулярніших в Російській імперії обігових дрібних монет, а також на особливу увагу заслуговують зразки російських імперських монет та банкнот, виготовлених для обігу в Царстві Польському, що також трапляються на нумізматичних аукціонах у Польщі. The main source of study in the numismatic research are coins themselves. In addition to coins from the museum and private collections, we note the significant information potential in the catalogs of the world numismatic auctions. Analyzing the catalogs of the numismatic companies auctions of the late XIX century, we could not find the collectors’interest in counterfeit coins of that time, because that time they were prosecuted and keeping them was the risk of criminal liability. Today, the interest in collecting of the counterfeit coins of the Russian Empire has increased significantly. Accordingly, we have found similar counterfeits in two main sources of our research – in the printed auction catalogs, as well as in the archives of the electronic auctions, Internet web-sites of communication and exchange of coins among the collectors’ etc. The major disadvantage for the scientific research while the use of numismatic auction sales data is the overwhelmingly lack of evidence about the location and circumstances of the coin discovery, because this information is commonly doesn’t being recorded by antique dealers. Among the materials sold at the numismatic auctions we were able to find an interesting examples of counterfeits of the most popular circulating small coins of that time in Russian Empire, as well as the specimens of Russian imperial coins and banknotes made in the Kingdom of Poland, which were also used as the prototype for the counterfeiters. | uk_UA |
