У статті проаналізовано історичний досвід оцінки нерухомостей для визначення бази оподаткування податком на нерухоме майно в Російській імперії, у тому числі й в українських губерніях. Визначено проблемні питання та недоліки в організації оціночних робіт. The historical experience of the valuation of estate property for the determination of the basis of the taxation of the real estate in Russian Empire, including the Ukrainian provinces too, is analysed in the article. The problem points and shortcomings in the organisation of the evaluation works are determined.
