Abstract
The purpose of this study is to assess Ukraine’s innovation activity in the context of global trends in innovation implementation. The paper examines the current state and dynamics of innovation activity in Ukraine in the context of global and European trends. The study focuses on a systematic assessment of Ukraine’s innovation activity and its comparison with the corresponding indicators of leading innovative economies. Particular attention is paid to identifying Ukraine’s competitive advantages, structural weaknesses, and development constraints. The results are expected to contribute to the formulation of evidence-based priorities for strengthening Ukraine’s innovation ecosystem, improving the institutional and business environment, fostering human capital, and enhancing the country’s global innovation competitiveness.
