Abstract
It is shown that the adoption of the new Law of Ukraine “On Workers’ Safety and Health at Work” significantly brings the national regulatory framework closer to international standards, primarily to the requirements of European directives, in particular 89/391/EEC and related regulatory acts. The new law forms the basis for the creation of a holistic and modern national labor protection system capable of effectively responding to current challenges - from the digital transformation of production processes to the growing requirements of international partners. Such systemic modernization has significant potential to reduce the level of occupational injuries and improve labor safety standards in Ukraine. Показано, що ухвалення нового Закону України «Про безпеку та здоров’я працівників на роботі» суттєво наближає національну нормативно-правову базу до міжнародних стандартів, насамперед до вимог європейських директив, зокрема 89/391/ЄЕС та пов’язаних регуляторних актів. Новий закон формує підґрунтя для створення цілісної й сучасної національної системи охорони праці, здатної ефективно реагувати на актуальні виклики – від цифрової трансформації виробничих процесів до зростаючих вимог міжнародних партнерів. Така системна модернізація має значний потенціал щодо зниження рівня виробничого травматизму та покращення стандартів безпеки праці в Україні.
